The position of Team Leader In Training will train to directly supervise and coordinate the activities of production and operation workers. This position will also train in the leadership knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform the job of Team Leader in a Production Line. Management may assign additional duties as needed.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
TLT SELECTION PROCESS:
Candidates for the TLT position must complete the WorkKeys assessment (Applied Math, Locating Information, Reading for Information) as well as a Microsoft Excel basic comprehension exam. Qualified candidates will then interview with a product line. The interview contains direct questions and situational exercises. Selected candidates must complete the TLT program to become a team leader. If the TLT is not promoted to a team leader position within two years after earning their TLT certificate, they will automatically be promoted to a variable shift team leader.
