Human Resources Business Partner – Phifer Fayette

Phifer incorporated has an opening for a Human Resources Business Partner in our facility in Fayette, Alabama.  The HRBP will be responsible for the alignment of business objectives with team members and management in Phifer Fayette.  The HRBP will serve as a consultant to management on Human Resources related issues including but not limited to safety, recruiting, ergonomics, policies & procedures, workforce development.

Required Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience as a Human Resources Generalist.  Excellent communications, customer service, organization and multi-tasking skills are a must along with experience in Microsoft Office 2010. A Bachelor’s Degree from an Accredited College or University in Human Resources, Business Management, or closely related field of study is required.  


  • Plan, execute and evaluate tactics for recruitment, interviewing, pre-employment screening, selection, hiring, on-boarding, retention and exits--all with the objectives, goals and talent needs of the organization
  • Interpret and explain human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, or regulations as needed 
  • Lead workforce develop initiatives and college community recruiting initiatives in Fayette county and surrounding areas to support long-term recruiting
  • Serve as an extension of corporate HR time management and benefits to ensure Phifer team members HR transactions are processed timely and accurately
  • Lead Phifer safety programs, maintain OSHA Log 300, risk management programs, and PhiferVision and Leadership Development.
  • Prepare incident reports and investigation(s), Monitor environmental conditions (visible emissions, drums labeled, are tanks leaking, etc.)  
  • Monitor, maintain and evaluate Human Resources,  F4 product line goals and employee ergonomics
  • Liaison with our HR workers’ compensation team to support injured workers
  • Manage the Phifer Fayette progressive discipline program


Must be able to work flexible hours and schedules in order to get the job done in a timely manner
